How many pictures will we receive?
Depending on what session type you are booking on average the amount you will receive is around 20-25 edited high resolution images with the option to purchase additional images if exceeded.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
Newborns are often sleepier and more flexible in the first two weeks of life, making it easier to pose them in those adorable curled-up positions.
Newborns change rapidly in the first few weeks, and capturing them during this time allows you to preserve their tiny features, like the curled fingers, soft skin, and the newborn fuzz.
How should we dress for our family session?
Steer clear of busy patterns and overly bright colours that can be distracting. Solid colours or subtle patterns tend to work best.
Ensure that everyone is comfortable in their clothing. Uncomfortable outfits can lead to unnatural poses and expressions.
All white or all black clothing can sometimes be challenging to photograph. Opt for a mix of colors to provide better contrast.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Absolutely! It's completely normal for many people not to feel very confident in front of a camera. As a professional photographer we are aware of this and are experienced in working with individuals who may feel a bit camera-shy or uncomfortable.
Communication is key: Express your concerns and feelings to the photographer. They can offer guidance, provide reassurance, and tailor the session to your comfort level.
If the photos involve multiple people, focus on interacting with each other rather than the camera. This can result in genuine, candid moments that better capture you as a couple or family.
